DISCOVER THE WISDOM AND BEAUTY OF FO GUANG SHAN CHUNG TIAN TEMPLE

Have you ever wondered about the history, architecture, and teachings behind Fo Guang Shan Chung Tian Temple? At the Buddha Birth Day Festival 2025, we invite you to join one of our guided temple tours, where you will explore this sacred space and gain deeper insight into Buddhism and its role in modern life.

A PLACE OF HARMONY AND LEARNING

Chung Tian Temple, meaning “Middle Heaven,” was established in 1992 as part of the global Fo Guang Shan Buddhist order, founded by Venerable Master Hsing Yun. Nestled among lush greenery in Logan, the temple serves as a place for spiritual cultivation, cultural exchange, and community service. Its architecture blends traditional Chinese design with Australian influences, creating a serene and welcoming environment for all visitors, regardless of background or beliefs.

EXPERIENCE HUMANISTIC BUDDHISM

Rooted in the principles of Humanistic Buddhism, the temple promotes a Buddhism that is integrated into everyday life, one that emphasises wisdom, compassion, and positive action in the present moment. Our guided tours offer a chance to learn how these teachings can bring peace, mindfulness, and fulfilment to your life. Our guides will take you through key areas of the temple, explaining the symbolism, rituals, and philosophy behind what you see and experience.

A COMMUNITY OF COMPASSION AND SERVICE

Beyond being a place of worship, Chung Tian Temple is deeply committed to serving the local community. Through educational programs, meditation classes, language courses, and charitable initiatives, we strive to create a more compassionate and connected society. We actively support local charities, host multicultural events, and provide a welcoming space for those seeking spiritual growth or personal reflection.
